Francis Marion’s Justin Greene was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the 20th round of the Major League baseball draft Friday.
Greene, an outfielder, led the Patriots in five offensive categories, including batting average (.384) and runs scored (54).
Greene finished his career owning the school’s all-time records for runs scored (163), hit-by-pitches (48), and sacrifice hits (38).
This is the fourth straight year FMU has had a player taken in the draft.
