FLORENCE — Francis Marion softball coach Stacey Vallee has announced the signing of right-handed pitcher/first baseman Lauren Bubeck of Tequesta, Fla., and infielder/catcher Ashley Jaramillo of Canyon Country, Calif., to national letters of intent to attend FMU this fall and play for the Patriots next spring.
Bubeck batted .436 with 21 runs batted in. On the mound, she posted a 9-3 record with an 0.65 ERA and 110 strikeouts in 96.1 innings.
Jaramillo hit .512 with 19 runs scored, eight doubles, four triples, three home runs, 17 RBIs, and a .535 on-base percentage.
