Leggett releases statement on burned home

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Every vacationers nightmare became Jack Leggett's reality this weekend. While in Nantucket with his family, Leggett's home in the Upstate almost burned to the ground. Wednesday he made his first public statement after his personal disaster.

Statement from Clemson Baseball Head Coach Jack Leggett on his house fire on Sunday:

On behalf of my wife Karen and myself, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. The magnitude of outpouring of support means a great deal to my family. We sincerely appreciate everyone's understanding of our need for privacy at this time. In the upcoming days and weeks, we will be working to establish a fund to aid a fire-related cause. Further information will be forthcoming. Again, our sincere thanks and gratitude,

Jack Leggett
