Myrtle Beach product Ramon Sessions has gone from just a baller at the beach to the big time. This week the Milwaukee Buck has been on the Grand Strand teaching kids, that they too can leave Myrtle Beach and make it to the NBA.

Sessions is holding his own basketball camp at Myrtle Beach High School. The kids, both boys and girls, aging from 5-15, have learned the fundamentals from the former Seahawk. But they've also been taught an even greater lesson - where you wind up is not necessarily a result of where you came from.

Sessions says one of the main reasons why he's held the camp is because when he was young, there was no NBA player who could come and talk and give autographs and lessons. He hopes that the kids will use his story as motivation to write their own.

Sessions went to the University of Nevada and was drafted in the 2007 draft by the Bucks. He spent the first part of this past season in the Developmental League. But when he was called up towards the end of the season, he took hold of the Milwaukee offense. He averaged over 8 points and seven assists over the past month and a half of the season. This week he returned from Las Vegas Summer League, which he lead with 7.3 assists.
