Marlboro County ATH Kinsman Thomas received a "soft" offer from South Carolina last month - and this week the talented Bulldog decided that the Gamecocks are the team he wants to play for.
Thomas still has some work to do to become an official member of the South Carolina football team. Assistant coach David Reaves gave Thomas the offer, but he will workout for Steve Spurrier Jr. next week. The school can still take back the offer if Thomas performs poorly in the early part of the season, or underachieves in the classroom.
The 6'2", 193 lb Thomas wants to play either linebacker or wide receiver for the Gamecocks.
