Race tracks at Florence and Dillon will treat fans to both racing and fireworks this holiday weekend.
On Friday FMS will host its annual Fourth of July bash. The event begins at 2 p.m. with a kid’s pool, water slide and jump castles.
Racing starts at 8:30 p.m. with a fireworks show to follow around 10 p.m. One lucky race fan will receive a $50 gas card from Palmetto Petro of Darlington.
Tickets for two adults and children under 12 years are $20. Senior citizen tickets are $5.General Admission for ages 13 and up is $12 with children 8 to 12 permitted for $3.
On Saturday, DMS will host its weekly racing with a JABS Fireworks show that promises to provide an added dose of entertainment for the track’s weekly race fans.
Racing begins at 7:30 p.m. with the fireworks show to begin after the final car has crossed the checkered flag.
Tickets are $14 for adults and grandstand admission is free for all children under age 11.
