Bottom line
With sophomore QB Everett Golson leading the way, the Seahawks will try to make a deep playoff run for the fourth consecutive year after ending last season with a loss to Crestwood in the lower state semis.
“It was a bitter defeat, but I think our kids understand that’s what happens in this game,”Myrtle Beach coach Scott Earley said. “They’re hungry to get back there again.”
The Seahawks return all nine starting linemen.
