Bottom line
First-year coach Joe Lewis takes over a Bobcat team that went winless in SCISA Region 1-A play in 2007. His goal for this season is simple: Change the culture of Carolina Academy football.
“(This team) has won six games in three years, and that’s unacceptable,” Lewis said. “I’m seeing guys that didn’t know how to play the game, and we’re changing the mindset.
“I think they’re working really hard right now, and I’m proud of them.”
