A new stadium, and a coach with experience, have the Falcons believing '08 will be kinder than '07 in Darlington.

D-Town has said good-bye to Welch Stadium, and hello to Falcon Field - a brand new stadium located right next to the high school. "I love it, everytime I come out and run the track, I just look around in awe," says sr. LB Brad Knox. "This is my last chance so I have to go out and play every game like it's my last game."

The once-proud Falcons took a dip in Justin Danner's first season as head coach, winning just two games overall, and going winless in the region. Darlington also lost senior leader QB Bootsie Gattison.

But he believes that now that the players and coaches are comfortable with each other Darlington will regain the success of old, under the new lights of Falcon Field.
