CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) — Clemson starting defensive tackle Rashaad Jackson has undergone knee surgery to repair a torn quad tendon.
The senior was injured in Saturday's scrimmage. Clemson athletic spokesman Tim Bourret said in a news release Tuesday night the surgery was successful, but Jackson will be out at least until the middle of the season.
Jackson started 10 of 13 games last year and made 37 tackles, seven for a loss.
