COLUMBIA — Will Casey pitched a complete-game shutout as Columbia defeated Florence , 2-0, in the first game of a doubleheader Thursday.
Columbia also won the second game, 3-1.
Casey limited Florence to just five hits and walked just one in the game.
Keon Graves led Florence with two hits. Rob Kumbatovic took the loss for the RedWolves (32-18 overall, 12-11 second half).
In the second game, Jesse Harmon had an RBI to lead Columbia. Tyler Greg McBride pitched a complete game in picking up the win for Columbia.
Florence starter Steve Grife (4-1) allowed just three hits and an earned run in losing his first game of the year. Blake Walker and Alec Lowery led Florence with two hits each.
