Clemson moves one step closer to football season today.
The Tigers start practice on Friday. The players at the Upstate school reported to campus Thursday night.
Clemson will work out Friday afternoon.
Expectations for the team is high during the preseason.
The Tigers have most of their stars returning from a year ago and were picked as the preseason choice to win the Atlantic Coast Conference title.
Clemson opens the season Aug. 30 against Alabama in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
