Mullins Auctioneer forward and Class 2A state player of the year, Andrew Crawford, has added more footage to his career highlight reel.
Crawford will be among the top high school basketball players representing the state of South Carolina in the April 5 Carolina’s All-Star Classic this weekend in the Charlotte Bobcats arena.
The high school basketball boys and girls doubleheader, organized by the North Carolina Coaches Association and South Carolina Coaches Association, will cap off a memorable senior season for Crawford, who led the team to an 24-1 undefeated regular season run. The season ended in a two-point loss to Burke High School in the lower state finals. His consistent play resulted in a season average of 22 points and 12 rebounds per game.
The games begin at 12:30 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $40 courtside, $25 Inner Circle reserved and $15 lower level general admission.
Marion County born Raymond Felton and the Bobcats will also be host to NBA Eastern Conference leaders, the Boston Celtics, at 7 p.m. Packages for both games range from $60, $45, and $35.
Other prep stars from the Pee Dee include Latta Lady Viking point guard Ruby Lee Wright, C.E. Murray forward Schwanna Dunmore, Dillon’s Lashay Page, and Darlington’s Kiara Douglas. Marion Lady Foxes All-State senior foward Rhodi Gause participated in the March 15 South Carolina North-South All-Star game.
