Coastal Carolina tight end Scott Fambrough was the latest Chanticleer to get in trouble with the law. Sunday November 11th, Fambrough was arrested for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
Fambrough was seen on Quail Run Drive in Conway driving on the wrong side of the road and flashing his high beams at an officer. The arrest report states that after the arresting officer executed the traffic stop, Fambrough jumped from his vehicle and appeared to look for a place to flee, but did not. The officer could smell alcohol coming out of the car, and Fambrough had trouble standing in place. Fambrough was kept in Horry County Detention Center for almost 4 hours, before posting $100 bail.
The sophomore did not play in the team's final game at Charleston Southern. Fambrough made 11 receptions this year with zero touchdowns.
