Time and again the Bears' offensive line "parted the waters" so Johnathan Holmes and Mario Young could rush unscathed.
The Bears were in top form, especially for a young team, as they bettered last year's score against Lamar. Last year's win was by one point, and that carried them to the state competition and ultimately a championship.
Now the Bears are in line for another, if they can beat Chesterfield at SC State at 3 p.m. on Friday.
