HEMINGWAY/CARVERS BAY — Arlington Scott had 134 yards on 21 carries including a 20 yard TD run with 2:41 left in the forth period to put Carvers’ Bay on top 13-8. Johnathan Holmes added a two point conversion to make the final score 15-8 moving the Bears into round three of the playoffs. Holmes, who rushed for 151 yards on 20 carries, also scored the initial TD in the first period with Britton adding the PAT. This game puts Holmes’ totals at 1789 yards rushing with 28 TD’s for the season.
Dyrell Porcha had a big defensive night with six solo tackles, five assists and one sack. C. Britton also had six solo tackles, with four assists. T. Greene had five solo tackles and three assists.
Carvers’ Bay will travel to Lamar Friday night to take on the Silver Foxes.
