Dionte Hargrove scored on a 3-yard run in the second overtime to lift Dillon to a 41-38 win over Hanahan on Friday night in the second round of the Class 2A high school football playoffs.
A back-and-forth first three quarters and a scoreless fourth set up the extra periods.
Hargrove scored from the 10 and Hanahan’s Alfonso Little recovered his team’s fumble for a score to tie the game and send it to the second overtime.
In the second extra period, Dillon’s defense limited the Hawks to Travis Jackson’s 23-yard field goal, and Hargrove scored on third and goal to seal the win.
The Wildcats (9-1) play at Cheraw, which beat Edisto 41-3, in a lower state semifinal game next week.

LAKE VIEW — Lake View’s defense picked off four passes and were led by Kentell Kelly’s 11 tackles as the Wild Gators earned a home lower state title game tilt next week against Blackville-Hilda.
Trailing at halftime, Lake View recovered a Williston-Elko fumble on the opening kickoff of the second half.
Antione McDaniel then caught a 28-yard pass from Terrance Legette to put the Wild Gators up 12-7, and the Lake View defense did the rest.

ST. STEPHEN — Wilson converted turnovers into two second-half touchdowns to rally for a victory.
Timberland (9-3) led 15-12 at halftime as Blake Wrenn and Kieron Paulin scored touchdowns. But it was all Wilson in the second half.
