Heather Morgan

My name is Heather Morgan and I attend Francis Marion University. I am a Mass Communication major with a track in Broadcast and a minor in Political Science. I have also taken many years of French which I hope to utilize in my future career. I am excited to be a senior preparing for graduation this December.
I am very proud to be an Alpha Delta Pi Alumna and have enjoyed my four years in the Zeta Phi chapter here. I am a very personable, social, and creative individual who thrives from being around people. That is part of the reason I chose this particular major. I believe that I can make a hands- on difference and touch people's lives with this degree upon graduation. My comfortable presence in front of a large audience, as well as my comfort speaking on camera, can be attributed to my theatre and pageantry experience. I have always enjoyed performing.
I have a beautiful family, an incredible boyfriend, and truly great friends that I surround myself with during my spare time when I am not working. I am Roman Catholic and have a very strong faith in Christ, who I attribute my success to. Being a grounded and honest person is very important to me in all that I do.
John Sweeney
John Sweeney, a native of Poland, OH and a Senior Mass Communication major at Francis Marion University, is entering his second year of reporting for WBTW's "U News". He is also an active member of the FMU Theatre department, where he is working on a minor, and has held two leading roles in productions put on by the university. Currently, John is away from Francis Marion, participating in the University of South Carolina's Washington Semester, where he is interning on Capitol Hill. He also is set to participate in an upcoming National Model United Nation's conference, held in Xi'An, China this November.
Vivian Vlahos

My name is Vivian Vlahos and I am originally from Florence, South Carolina. I am 19 years old and attend Francis Marion University. I plan on transferring to Charlotte, North Carolina to finish school and find a job. My major is Mass Communication, with a focus in Public Relations.
In my free time I enjoy reading, working, going to the gym, dancing, traveling, and spending time with my friends and family. My parents were born and raised in Greece and I take pride in my heritage and culture. I have a "big fat Greek family!" just like the movie. My parents moved here to give my brother, sister, and me a better life and more opportunities than they had as children.
My goals in life are to love my job, have a big family one day just like my relatives, help as many people out as I can in life and learn as much as I can in the process. I believe that no matter how much you get paid, if you have passion and love for your job, then you're already rich. I am a very outgoing and a very friendly and easy person to get along with. Even though school and work take up much of my time, I like to get involved in my community when possible and I spend time with my grandparents every day. The quotation I live by is "I believe that everything you do that's bad comes back to you. So everything that I do that's bad, I'm going to suffer for it. But in my mind, I believe what I'm doing is right. So I feel like I'm going to heaven."-Tupac Shakur.
