Lindsay Milbourne - Weekend Meteorologist

Lindsay Milbourne joined the News 13 weather team in July 2009 as the weekend meteorologist and weather reporter. Before moving to South Carolina, Lindsay worked for the ABC affiliate in Gainesville, Florida where she forecasted severe weather sometimes on a daily basis. Hurricanes, severe thunderstorms, tornadoes, and even wildfires she reported it all during her time in North Central Florida.

Lindsay also has worked in the weather department at WGN in her hometown Chicago, Illinois with Tom Skilling. She left her winter roots and moved to sunny Florida where she earned her meteorology degree as well as a math minor from Florida State University. Lindsay also is a member of the American Meteorological Society.

In her free time Lindsay enjoys cooking and is looking forward to trying some Low Country recipes. She also enjoys watching college football and the Chicago Bears hold a special place in her heart. Lindsay's ideal ways to relax include yoga, traveling to visit friends and family or volunteering to help animal rescue groups. She is looking forward to having the sand and surf part of her everyday life and exploring all South Carolina has to offer.
