Aisha Khan joined the WBTW team as a reporter in November 2008. She comes to the Grand Strand from the Washington, DC suburbs of Maryland, where she spent two years at CTV news as a community reporter and occasional anchor, while simultaneously holding down a job as a production assistant at WJLA-TV and NewsChannel 8. She also hosted various short entertainment segments for WJLA's digital sub-channel known as LocalPoint TV. Aisha got her start in broadcasting shortly out of college at WMAL 630AM, where she was an on-air producer for radio talk show host, Chris Core.

Aisha is a graduate of American University in Washington, D.C., where she studied psychology. She already feels very much at home here, thanks to the warm hospitality of the people of the Grand Strand, and she promises to never mispronounce words like, "Horry" or "PeeDee", to name just two.
