Thema Ponton - WBTW News 13 Weekend Anchor/Producer

Thema joined the News13 staff in April of 2007 as a General Assignment reporter.

In June of 2009, Thema became the Weekend Anchor and Producer.

Her most recent job before coming to WBTW was as a freelance General Assignment reporter at WPGH in Pittsburgh.

Theme also spent 3 years at KALB in Alexandria, Louisiana as the crime and courthouse reporter and a fill-in anchor and producer.

Before that, Thema spent two years at WTXL in Tallahassee, Florida. At WTXL, Thema was an intern, production assistant, editor, and weekend reporter.

Thema is an alumna of Florida A&M University.
