Hartsville Recreation Department Football
On Tuesday, Ahlstrom defeated Malloy Law Firm 40-6. Advanced Medical defeated Pepsi 20-14. Tingen & Associates defeated T&J Motors 38-0, and Warp 3 Computers defeated Carolina Printing 34-0. The next games will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Byerly Park.

The USSSA Fall Challenge in the Ville wraps up today at Byerly Park in Hartsville. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for youths, free for ages 6 and younger.

The Maple and McLeod Park baseball teams have taken different approaches in preparing for the Dixie Youth State Tournaments. The Maple Park minors and McLeod Park majors have not played in meaningful games for six weeks leading up to the state tournament, which gets started today and runs through Thursday at Freedom Florence.
