Titans waive Timmonsville’s Morris

Former Timmonsville and S.C. State standout Phillip Morris was cut Friday by the Titans as teams trimmed their rosters down to 53.

The Titans didn’t release any of the players names they cut but the Tennesseean reported Morris was one of the 18 who didn’t make the final cut.

The paper also said Titans were interested in signing him to the practice squad if he isn’t picked up by another team.

Morris signed as a free agent in April and played in one preseason game. He had a catch for five yards Thursday against Green Bay.
