League champion Phantoms hold final tryout

FLORENCE — The Florence Phantoms are having their final tryout for the upcoming 2009 season.
The tryout is on Jan. 31 and will be held at The Byrnes Schools in Quinby.
Participants will be evaluated in the 40 yard dash, the 20 yard shuttle, the standing broad jump, and, 225lbs bench press, and individual and team drills by position.
This tryout is for everyone that would like to have a chance to become a professional football player. There is a $50 registration fee (cash or money order only, no personal checks). Participants can pre-register on the team’s website, http://www.florencephantoms.com.
