WILMINGTON, N.C. — Alex Hill’s RBI double in the bottom of the 10th scored Jesse Bosnik and lifted Wilmington to a 2-1 win over the Florence RedWolves on Thursday night in Coastal Plain League baseball.

Bosnik singled with one out and went to second on Andre Guerra’s base hit, setting the stage for Hill’s heroics against right-hander Todd Miller (1-2).

Ryan McGrath picked up the win for the Sharks, pitching the final 1 2/3 innings.

He surrendered the tying run in the top of the ninth when Steven Neff doubled to score Barrett Kleinknecht with one out.

Florence returns home for a 7:30 game tonight against Fayetteville.
