RedWolves win, back in first place

ASHEBORO, N.C. — Brad Raj had two hits and two RBI as the Florence RedWolves defeated Asheboro 6-4 on Sunday.
The win moves Florence back in first place in the South Division by a 1/2 game over idle Wilson.
Six different RedWolves each had two hits as Florence pounded out 14 hits in the game.
With the score tied at 3-3 in the sixth inning, David Masters gave the RedWolves the lead with an RBI single to score Austin Smetana.
Florence added single runs in the next two innings, one coming on an RBI double from Myckie Lugbauer.
Todd Miller picked up the win in relief, going two innings, striking out two and allowing just one hit.
Steven Neff pitched the final three innings to pick up the save.
Florence is off today and will host Wilson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
