RedWolves release 2010 schedule

FLORENCE — During the 2010 Coastal Plain League baseball season, the Florence RedWolves will get to know the Morehead City Marlins well.
Morehead City, located just south of the Outer Banks in North Carolina, will play its inaugural season in the 15-team CPL next summer, and the RedWolves will face the Marlins 12 times.
Florence, which will be coached by Chris Kemp, opens its 56-game regular-season schedule May 26 at home against the Fayetteville SwampDogs. The RedWolves finished the 2009 season 30-25 and lost in the first round of the Petitt Cup playoffs.
In addition to the 56 regular season games, the RedWolves will host an exhibition against a University of South Carolina alumni team on July 1.
The CPL, a summer collegiate wooden bat league with teams in South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia, is entering its 14th season.
