Waccamaw quieted at powerhouse Crescent

The Crescent Tigers are a softball dynasty.  And Waccamaw is one more loss away from being just another team that has lost to them.  Monday the Tigers blanked the Warriors 2-0 to take a one game lead in the best of Class AAA state championship series.

Crescent has won 17 softball titles, including 11 in a row at one time.  However their last title came in 2001.  Game two of the series will be in Pawleys Island on Wednesday at 6pm.
