Kylie Cribb allowed just two earned runs in 12 innings with nine strikeouts as South Florence earned a doubleheader sweep of Bishop England on Saturday, 17-0 and 14-3.

Sarah Hardee struck out 10 batters and Catherine Gainey drove in two runs as Darlington improved to 10-0 with a 6-0 win over Wilson on Friday.

When Ryan Poston took over the Johnsonville softball program five years ago, 68 girls showed interest in joining the team. After a tough offseason training regimen that was designed to test their commitment, only 12 made it to tryouts.
