HEMINGWAY — Davious Chestnut rushed for three touchdowns as Carvers Bay bounced back from its first loss of the season with a 20-0 victory over Lake View on Friday in high school football.
Tevin Richard led the Bears with 173 yards rushing as Carvers Bay outgained Lake View 301-151.

FLORENCE — Kaleb Griffin connected with Charles Nettles on an 81-yard touchdown pass in the final three minutes to give the Bruins (4-2) a big win.
Griffin was 15-of-19 for 212 yards and three TDs, all of which went to Nettles who caught six passes for 141 yards.
Terrion Brown had 105 yards on 18 carries for the Bruins.

Wilson 49, Lakewood 14
SUMTER — Adray Montgomery rushed for 136 yards and two touchdowns as Wilson opened Region 6-3A play with a win.
John Israel had one catch for 74 yards and a touchdown and Justin Kelly had three catches for 30 yards.
Chipper Smith had 125 yards passing and a TD filling in at QB for Maleik McCall, who had the flu all week.

Greenwood 35, West Florence 10
GREENWOOD — D.J. Goodman rushed for 103 yards and three touchdowns to lead Greenwood past the Knights.
Broddick Jones rushed for 175 yards to lead West.
