BENNETTSVILLE — Marlboro County quarterback Elliot Alford threw for 402 yards and five touchdowns as the Bulldogs routed their former rival with a 52-0 win over Conway Friday in high school football action.
Jaquan Brantly caught nine passes for 200 yards and four touchdowns for the Bulldogs.

Darlington 45, West Florence 19
FLORENCE — Damien Debose threw for a couple of touchdowns, including a 60-yarder to Quaishon Ross, as the Falcons rolled to their first win of the season.
The Falcons had a big first half, putting up 31 points against the Knights.

Lake City 46, Manning 27
MANNING — Shon Carson rushed 27 times for 201 yards and four touchdowns as Lake City continued its winning ways.
Brandon Miller threw for 156 yards and rushed for two touchdowns to lead the Monarchs.

Wilson 49, Timmonsville 14
TIMMONSVILLE — Adray Montgomery rushed for 129 yards and two touchdowns and Maleik McCall threw for two more scores as Wilson rebounded from last week’s loss to Hartsville.
Mike McAllister rushed for 112 yards to lead the Whirlwinds.

Marlboro County is awesome. They came out of the box on the first play throwing the ball. It makes everyone see that not only we can run the ball but we can throw too. They shouldn’t have any problems with Dillon this week with us shutting out opponents for the last couple of weeks. What?? State Champions again
