Green Sea-Floyds Football Preview

The football fans in the little communities of Green Sea and Floyds aren’t using to seeing success on the football field.  So you can’t blame them for getting excited after the Trojans won 7 games and earned a playoff berth last year.

Optimism is high for a follow-up to last year’s playoff squad.  GSF returns seven starters on both sides of the ball, including the most important parts of their Wing-T offense.  Senior RB Kentrell Dewitt and senior QB Mitchell Dixon will once again anchor the offense, with LB Fred McKivan the star on defense. 

The Trojans’ region is no cakewalk - they have to battle Lake View, Carvers Bay, Hemingway and Johnsonville.  But the rest of their games are winnable - which could lead to the second straight playoff trip for those Trojan fans.
