There is a reason Williams-Brice Stadium has the nickname in Cheraw of Micklejohn East. For the past three years the Braves have made the stadium their home away from home.

And even though the site for this year’s state championship game has changed to Death Vally, Cheraw believes they can claim a new land of the Braves.

The Braves return possibly the most dynamic backfield in the state, led by 2,000 yeard rusher Travis Small.

Despite breaking in a new quarterback in Grey Stratford, Coach Johnny White’s gameplan will remain the same - run the ball, and then run it some more.

And with most of the offensive line returning, a “three-peat” is not out of the question.
