Coach Ron Lanham and Mullins Auctioneers put win number one in the books with a 30-25 win on the road against Green Sea Floyds. The Trojans took a 13-0 lead within the first minute and a half of the opening quarter. Kentrell Dixon scored two of his three first quarter touchdowns on just two touches, returning the opening kick-off 70-yards, and then following with a 65-yard run.

Mullins gained control after a 68-yard touchdown from Bobby Crawford pass to Seqwan McFarland. Running back George Page followed with a 71-yard touchdown, giving the Aucs a 16-13 advantage after converting both two-point conversions. Page scored another 27-yard touchdown run to answer an 11-yard TD run from Dewitt, setting up a 24-19 halftime lead for Mullins. A 65-yard touchdown run from Lonnell Jerkins gave the Trojans a one point lead late in the third quarter. However, Aucs defensive back Cey’Quwan Ritter recovered a fumble force by linebacker Antonio Anders and ran it back 45-yards for the game winning score.
