HARTSVILLE — Jordan Scott posted 26 points to lead Hartsville to a 58-52 win over defending Class 3A state champion Myrtle Beach on Friday in high school boys basketball.

Lawrence McPhail added nine points for the Red Foxes.

Antonio Jones had 23 points, Lerondi Ceaser had 20 and Oshwand Scott finished with 17 for the Whirlwinds.

Deonte Johnson led Marion with 16 followed by Justin Gause with 15.

HARTSVILLE — Caitlyn Bell hit the front end of a 1-and-1 with 16.7 seconds remaining to account for the winning margin for Emmanuel Christian.

Bell led the Crusaders with 11 points. Bianca Rogers scored six of her eight points in the fourth quarter to help Emmanuel.

The Governor’s School led 19-13 at the half, but was held scoreless in the third quarter.
