North Carolina All-Stars scored a record-setting 111-77 victory over the South Carolina All-Stars at the 2009 Carolinas All-Star Classic at Socastee High School.

Mullins guard Stacy Wilson scored 18 points, but it was not enough as the North Carolina All-Star squad scored an easy 106-82 victory over the South Carolina All-Stars at the 2009 Carolinas AllStar Classic at Socastee High School.

Calhoun dismantles Tiger hopes 87-61

Missed Hemingway free throws helped Calhoun County gain a 10-point lead at halftime, and the three-time defending state champions kept building their lead to end the game at 87-61, and Hemingway’s season at 26-3.

Brantley barrage lifts Marion to state final

Geneika Brantley scored 10 of her game high 24 points in the pivotal third quarter in Saturday’s lower state final against Silver bluff. In doing, she led the Marion High School Lady Swamp Foxes into the Class 2A title game next Saturday in Columbia with a 53-36 victory, and will face Pendleton.
