Johnsonville Tops Lake View

JOHNSONVILLE - Brock Cooper gave up nine hits, and issued four K’s and five BB’s in six inning to lead the Flashes to a 15 – 5 victory over Lake View on last Friday night.  Josh Powell went 4 for 4 at the plate including a home run, with five RBI’s.  Matthew Davis also had a home run and four RBI’s in three at bats.  Taylor Strickland had two hits and one RBI.  Tracy Bishop and Charlton Hanna had one run each. 

The Flashes continued their climb to the top of the conference with a 17 – 0 victory over Hemingway on April 6th.  Tyler Bishop pitched two innings giving up one hit and striking out four.  Gaige Powell struck out six and walked three in three innings.  Josh Powell was 2 for 2 with a home run, and three RBI’s.  Jaree Cokley had two run homer.  Taylor Strickland was three for three with one RBI.  James Allen Howell had a hit and two RBI’s.  Johnsonville is now 7 – 0 in conference play.
