West, South, Hartsville compete in region swim meet

West Florence, South Florence and Hartsville competed in the Region-4A swim meet Saturday.

Carolina Forest placed first overall in both the girls and boys division. West Florence boys placed second and the girls placed third. Both Harstville squads finished fourth.

Breaking region records were South Florence’s Jake Hinton (100 back) and West Florence’s Emily White (100 breast).

The West Florence boys A-team placed first in the medley relay and 200 free relay. The Hartsville girls were second in the 200 Free Relay. The boys placed third in 200 Free Relay and fourth in the 400 Free Relay.
