City of Marion to host viewing of Gamecocks’ top 25 football game

Gamecock football fans will be needed this week as the squad will meet the second ranked team in the nation.

The City of Marion will be hosting its’ fourth NCAA football game veiwing.

A free football night event is on schedule for Saturday at C.J. Joyner Auditorium Elizabeth Street near Main Street.

Tailgating gets started at 5:45 p.m. and then fans can sit back indoors to watch the USC Gamecocks #22 take on the Alabama Crimson Tide #2.

Game time starts at 7:45 pm on the 11’ x 15’ big screen.

Parking and admission is free. No alcohol on the premises.
