Coker volleyball signs seven players

HARTSVILLE — Coker College volleyball has signed seven players for next season.

This incoming class marks the first recruiting class for coach Jon Stenman, after he joined Coker in the summer of ’08.

Five of the seven signees are from South Carolina and include: Robert E. Lee’s April Griggs, Newberry’s Kayla Hopper Wando’s Jordan Hancock, North Central’s Brittany Bass, Edisto’s Molly Bookhart. The two out-of-state signees were Abigail Frame of Sylvania, Ohio and Lisa Ross from Bowling Green, Kent.
