Coker offers free Webcasting

HARTSVILLE — Coker College is pleased to announce that starting today, Coker will offer free online video Webcasts of all home volleyball and men’s and women’s basketball games.
Just indoor sports will be Webcast to start the year, with the hope of expanding to outdoor venues in the near future.
Fans will still need to register with Penn Atlantic in order to access the games. For more information on system requirements and to gain access to the webcasts, visit http://media.pennatlantic.com/newsite.
Coker women earn doubles championship
SUMTER — The top-seeded doubles pair of Alyssa Blanchard and Rachel Lemar won the Conference Carolinas individual championships at the Palmetto Tennis Center during the weekend.
Blanchard and Lemar won three straight matches to take the title winning 8-1, 8-4 and 8-2. The 8-2 win in the championship match was over the No. 3 seed of Bignon and Rheault from Erskine College.
The championship marks the first Conference Carolinas Individual Championship that anyone at Coker, singles or doubles, has won.
