CCU game 2 preview

Cary, NC-  A few things jumped out when initially looking at the starting lineup a pregame notes. Coastal Carolina will go with Scott Woodward leading off again today. Through out the regional in Conway Head Coach Gary Gilmore rotated David Sappelt and Woodward. The Freshman All-American Woodward went 1-3 yesterday with two strikeouts. The other interesting note was the umpire rotation. Steve Mattingly will be behind the plate for today’s vital game for CCU. He is the same umpire that ejected Joey Haug and Bobby Gagg, and also made the suspect call at first base in the bottom of the first inning. Ultimately leading to North Carolina grabbing an early lead that they would never surrender.
  North Carolina will be the away team to today with the Chanticleers in their newest home white jerseys. Here is a look at today’s starting lineups:
