Clemson to host NCAA baseball regional

Clemson was one of 16 sites selected to host an NCAA Baseball Regional for the 63rd-annual Division I Baseball Championship on Sunday.
The regional will begin at Doug Kingsmore Stadium on Friday.  The Tigers will be one of four teams to play in the double-elimination tourney, as the 64-team field will be announced on ESPN on Monday at 12:30 p.m.

ACC Baseball Tournament coming to Myrtle Beach

The conference also awarded its baseball tournament to Myrtle Beach, S.C., for three years, beginning in 2011. Myrtle Beach beat out Jacksonville, Greensboro, N.C., Greenville, N.C., and Winston-Salem, N.C. The tournament will be played at BB&T Coastal Stadium, the Carolina League home of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, an Atlanta Braves farm team.
