Clemson grad Glover holds on for 2-shot win at US Open
Clemson grad Lucas Glover has won the U.S. Open at Bethpage Black. Getting only the second victory of his PGA Tour career, Glover finished a final round of 3-over 73 Monday afternoon to win by two strokes over Phil Mickelson, David Duval and Ricky Barnes.

Oklahoma State squeaks by Clemson
Neil Medchill hit a two-out RBI single in the eighth inning to give Oklahoma State a 3-2 victory over Clemson in an NCAA regional game Saturday night. Medchill’s sharp grounder went off the glove of sprawling first baseman Ben Paulsen, allowing Micheal Dabbs to score from second with the go-ahead run.

Clemson to host NCAA baseball regional
Clemson was one of 16 sites selected to host an NCAA Baseball Regional for the 63rd-annual Division I Baseball Championship on Sunday.
The regional will begin at Doug Kingsmore Stadium on Friday. The Tigers will be one of four teams to play in the double-elimination tourney, as the 64-team field will be announced on ESPN on Monday at 12:30 p.m.

ACC Baseball Tournament coming to Myrtle Beach
The conference also awarded its baseball tournament to Myrtle Beach, S.C., for three years, beginning in 2011. Myrtle Beach beat out Jacksonville, Greensboro, N.C., Greenville, N.C., and Winston-Salem, N.C. The tournament will be played at BB&T Coastal Stadium, the Carolina League home of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, an Atlanta Braves farm team.
