Clemson headed to Gator Bowl
Clemson will be invited to play in the January 1st Gator Bowl in Jacksonville, according to sources. The official invite may not come until as late as Sunday.

Turnovers lift Clemson past Virginia, 13-3
C.J. Spiller threw the first touchdown pass of his career and Clemson scored all its points after Virginia turnovers Saturday in a 13-3 victory. The Tigers (6-5, 4-4 Atlantic Coast Conference) used two interceptions and a fumble recovery to get the first of two victories they need to qualify for a bowl game.

Tigers reportedly interview Illini’s Locksley for coaching opening
A fourth candidate has emerged in Clemson’s ongoing search to replace Tommy Bowden. TigerIllustrated.com reported Thursday that Illinois offensive coordinator Mike Locksley interviewed with Clemson athletic director Terry Don Phillips on Nov. 7 – the night before Clemson’s game with Florida State – in Dearborn, Mich., a suburb of Detroit.
