Tigers bounce back against Eagles

BOSTON — Trevor Booker had 21 points and 13 rebounds, and Terrence Oglesby scored 18 of his 21 points in the second half to lead No. 12 Clemson to an 87-77 victory over Boston College on Tuesday night.
Oglesby went 6-for-10 from 3-point range, one on a four-point play with 11:54 left to put the Tigers (20-3, 6-3 Atlantic Coast Conference) ahead for good at 61-57.
K.C. Rivers added 17 points and Raymond Sykes scored 12 with nine rebounds as Clemson reached 20 wins for the third consecutive season — a first in school history.
Rakim Sanders scored 23 with eight rebounds for BC (18-8, 6-5), but didn’t score in the last 13:27. Tyrese Rice scored 17 as the Eagles dropped to 1-4 against ranked teams, with No. 6 Duke up next on Sunday.
