Josh Dollard is skipping his senior season at USC Aiken.

The former Hemingway standout will be heading overseas to play professionally, the school said Thursday.

Dollard hasn’t signed with a team yet.

Dollard spent just one season with the Pacers averaged 15.3 points and 7.4 rebounds. He was named to the Peach Belt Tournament team and was a second-team all-PBC selection in helping the Pacers to the Division II tournament.

“Josh was a great asset to our program, but we will move on and work with the pieces we have in place,” USC Aiken coach Vince Alexander said.a
Before landing with USC Aiken, Dollard played at Auburn for two seasons.

After starting 12 games as a freshman, Dollard led the Tigers in scoring the following year with 12.5 points a game. Dollard was suspended the final six games that season for violating team rules and redshirted because of a back injury.

Dollard was dismissed for another violation of team rules last July.

“It was time for me to move forward and make a change,” Dollard said earlier this year. “I’m still friends with guys on the team and keep in touch with it.”

Attempts to reach Dollard have been unsuccessful Thursday.
