Ft. Jackson room named for fallen Lake City soldier
The room where U.S. Sgt. Maj. Michael Boyd Stack of Lake City took his first military oath was named in his memory Friday at Ft. Jackson. Stack, 48, was killed while on tour in Iraq on Easter Sunday, April 14, 2004.
