Titans complete record-setting season

On Oct. 31, the Trinity Collegiate School boys’ cross country team won its second straight 2A SCISA Cross Country State title, ending a remarkable season.

From the ground up: Trinity Collegiate starts football program

Trinity Collegiate School is taking on the big task of beginning a football program. The Titans, a SCISA member, are playing the 8-man game this year and begin their season next week against last year’s state runners-up, Andrew Jackson. And there have been, and still are, obstacles for them to overcome.

Pee Dee teams go 0-for-3 in SCISA semifinals

For most of Thursday’s SCISA basketball Class 2A state semifinal, Pee Dee Academy coach Jerry Coleman thought his team was right where it needed to be. Unfortunately for Pee Dee, the last part of the fourth quarter was when some of the Eagles’ bad tendencies showed up.

Trinity Collegiate to begin football program

It was 1988 when current Trinity Collegiate headmaster Em Hubbard began a football program at St. Andrews School. “I think our biggest sports moment that season was when we finally scored a touchdown in our last game,” Hubbard said. “Ten years later, they won a state title.”

Trinity Titans remember playoff loss

Remember Holly Hill. For Trinity Collegiate’s girls basketball team, those three words have been both a painful reminder and a rallying cry this season. The Titans fell to Holly Hill, a team they had previously beaten twice, in the semifinals of last year’s SCISA Class 2A state tournament.
