FMU tennis opens up at Coker
The nationally ranked Francis Marion men’s and women’s tennis teams will open their seasons on Sunday at local rival Coker College. Both matches will begin at 2 p.m.

Bobcats’ Reddeck wins SCISA player of the year
After leading Carolina Academy’s girls tennis team to the SCISA Class 2A state championship, Lauren Reddeck earned another piece of hardware to add to her collection. On Sunday, the senior was named SCISA player of the year in an awards ceremony held at Wilson Hall.

Patriot tennis player Jezovicova named Academic All-American
Francis Marion University women’s tennis player Magda Jezovicova has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America women’s at-large team for the College Division.
The Cesky Tesin, Czech Republic, native was named to the 15-player first-team. She was the only player from a Palmetto State school to make the College Division All-America squad.
