In the co-ed softball league, Celebrities won the 2009 Lower Bracket Tournament. They beat the Castaways 8-2 in the championship game Tuesday night. The Upper Bracket Championship game pits the Mudhole Stompers against Chix & Stix at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The ISA Carolina Print & Trophy Power House Classic girls’ fast pitch softball tournament was held this weekend at Hartsville Northern League Baseball Complex, Hartsville’s Byerly Park and at Bishopville’s Chapel Field. Parents and fans crowded the parking lots of all three fields as more than 40 teams participated.
